Ranking 5 Best Asta Light Cones In Honkai: Star Rail

Asta is a flexible character in Honkai: Star Rail who can use different light cones based on what the player wants.
Asta is a Fire unit on the Harmony path in Honkai: Star Rail. She has great support skills that help her team in tough situations. Asta is a free-to-play character that players get as they move through the game. She is good at a lot of different things. She has some abilities that are like Bronya’s, like making the team faster and doing more damage.
Asta also has DPS ability and a kit that works very well in Weakness. Using an AoE scale to break the toughness of an enemy. So, in Honkai: Star Rail, players can choose from a wide range of light cones to build Asta the way they want.
Meshing Cogs

- Base ATK (LVL 80): 317
- Base DEF (LVL 80): 264
- Base HP (LVL 80): 846
- Effect : The wearer gets an extra 4/5/6/7/8 Energy when they use a move or get hit. Only one time per turn can this action be used.
Meshing Cogs is a great choice for F2P players who don’t have any 4-star or 5-star light cone options for Asta yet. It can be gotten through Gacha, but the fact that it is a 3-star weapon makes it easier to get and easier to improve for more team benefits. Asta relies a lot on her Ultimate for buffing, which means she needs to get energy quickly. This is where Meshing Cogs comes in. It helps Asta get energy quickly and improves how well she does on the battlefield. With this light cone, F2P players can get the most out of Asta’s help without having to rely on rarer items.
Memories of the Past

- Base ATK (LVL 80): 423
- Base DEF (LVL 80): 396
- Base HP (LVL 80): 952
- Effect : When Basic ATK and Skills are used, the wearer’s energy is restored 16%/20%/24%/28%/32% faster. Increases SPD by 8/10/12/14/16, up to 3 times, for each Weakness Break you deal to an enemy.
Memories of the Past is another great light cone that helps Asta build up more energy so she can use her Ultimate more often. Also, it has a secondary effect that works well with Asta’s skill and basic attack to break weaknesses. But compared to other 4-star light cones on the list, it usually doesn’t have any team-wide buffs that are always on. This makes other options more useful if players have access to them.
Planetary Rendezvous

- Base ATK (LVL 80): 423
- Base DEF (LVL 80): 330
- Base HP (LVL 80): 1058
- Effect : When all allies do the same type of damage as the wearer, the damage done goes up by 12%/15%/18%/21%/24% when the fight starts.
Even though this light cone isn’t as common as some of the others, it’s one of the best picks for teams that rely on Asta and have a lot of Fire DPS characters or are all Fire. Asta naturally helps fire characters because one of her passives improves fire damage done to the team as a whole, making this light cone a great match. So, players who are thinking about putting Himeko or Fire Trailblazer on their teams can gain a lot from adding Asta and this light cone to their compositions.
Dance Dance Dance!

- Base ATK (LVL 80): 423
- Base DEF (LVL 80): 396
- Base HP (LVL 80): 952
- Effect : When the wearer uses their Ultimate, the acts of all allies are moved forward by 16%/18%/20%/22%/24%.
Dance Dance Dance!, a 4-star light cone, can also be won through Gacha. It can be very helpful in fights where the enemy is fast and has the right to go first. If players can reliably use Asta’s Ultimate every two turns, this light cone can help the team a lot by moving their actions along with Asta’s Ultimate’s speed boost.
But The Battle Isn’t Over

- Base ATK (LVL 80): 529
- Base DEF (LVL 80): 463
- Base HP (LVL 80): 1164
- Effect : Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 8%/10%/12%/14%/16% and gives them back 1 Skill Point when they use their Ultimate on a friend. This result can happen every time the wearer’s Ultimate is used for the second time. When the wearer uses their Skill, the next friend to act does 30%/37.5%/45%/52.5%/60% more damage for 1 turn.
The Battle Isn’t Over is Bronya’s 5-star signature light cone. But it can also help Asta if players can use it but not Bronya. But if Eggy Car player has both Bronya and this light cone, it is still best to put it on Bronya and choose another light cone from the list to add to Asta’s kit. This is because “The Battle Isn’t Over” fixes some of Bronya’s weaknesses, like her heavy reliance on her Skill, and its secondary effect works well with Bronya’s powers. Asta can still use her Ultimate skill more often with the help of this light cone, but the secondary effect may not be as reliable unless players have built their characters’ Speed values and turn priorities in a way that lets the main DPS character act after Asta uses her skill.
Honkai: Star Rail is now available for Android, iOS, and PC. A version for the PlayStation is in the works.
